We at White Oak Pond pledge to conduct the ministry of Jesus Christ in ways that assure the physical and emotional safety and spiritual growth of all. We will follow reasonable safety measures when selecting and recruiting workers; we will implement prudent operational procedures in all areas of programming and care; we will train our workers with minors and vulnerable persons on our procedures and policies.

We have a Safe Sanctuary policy that demonstrates our total and unwavering commitment to the physical, emotional and spiritual safety of all. The term “safe sanctuary” describes exactly what it sounds like. A safe sanctuary policy attempts to provide a safe environment for ministry to take place and for all persons participating in church ministries from fire, injury, intruder, sexual abuse and natural disaster.
